Sleep Expert - Sales
About the role
The Sleep Expert position at Mattress Firm involves providing support across multiple locations including 550 Gallery Boulevard, Suite A, Scarborough, ME 04074, 365 Maine Mall Road, South Portland, ME 04106, 200 Running Hill Road, Unit 9, South Portland, ME 04106, and 580 Alfred Street, Biddeford, ME 04005.
Responsibilities
- Elevate and enhance the customer’s in-store experience by being a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products.
- Execute Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and support a seamless omnichannel experience.
- Create an environment where the customer is always at the center by cultivating strong relationships.
- Provide technical and product knowledge information to customers and serve as a subject matter expert.
- Drive individual sales performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
- Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase (resolve customer issues, send delivery reminders, etc.).
- Leverage social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
- Be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50+ pounds.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
