Sleep Expert - Sales

About the role

The Sleep Expert position involves providing support to Mattress Firm locations across multiple states including Somersworth, NH, Rochester, NH, Newington, NH, and Portsmouth, NH. This role requires the ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Elevate and enhance the customer’s in-store experience by being a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products.
• Execute Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and support a seamless omnichannel experience.
• Create an environment where the customer is always at the center by cultivating strong relationships.
• Provide technical and product knowledge information to customers and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Drive individual sales performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase (resolve customer issues, send delivery reminders, etc.).
• Leverage social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
• Maintain awareness of the competition, advertisements, and services offered by competitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of Mattress Firm products and services.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Pay

Competitive pay range of $59,000 - $81,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.

Hours vary based on location and shift requirements.
