Sleep Expert - Sales
About the role
The Sleep Expert position is for a Russellville, AR area location scheduled to open in October 2026 (subject to change). The successful candidate will train in the Little Rock area and support in both the Little Rock and Hot Springs markets until the Russellville location opens.
Responsibilities
- Elevate and enhance the customer’s in-store experience by being a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products.
- Execute Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and support a seamless omnichannel experience.
- Create an environment where the customer is always at the center by cultivating strong relationships.
- Provide technical and product knowledge information to customers and serve as a subject matter expert.
- Drive individual sales performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
- Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase (resolve customer issues, send delivery reminders, etc.).
- Leverage social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
- Be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50+ pounds.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Mattress Firm products and services.
- Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a customer service or sales role.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Passion for helping customers achieve better sleep and overall wellness.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Pay
Competitive pay range of $51,000 - $64,000, depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
