Sleep Expert - Sales

About the role

The Sleep Expert position is opening to support a new location in the Little Rock area, expected to open in October 2026 (subject to change). Until this location opens, employees will support both Little Rock and Hot Springs area stores.

Responsibilities

• Elevate and enhance the customer’s in-store experience by being a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products.
• Execute Mattress Firm selling programs using digital tools and support a seamless omnichannel experience.
• Create an environment where the customer is always at the center by cultivating strong relationships.
• Provide technical and product knowledge information to customers and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Drive individual sales performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase (resolve customer issues, send delivery reminders, etc.).
• Leverage social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
• Be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50+ pounds.

Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous retail experience is preferred but not required. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong understanding of mattresses and sleep solutions.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with digital tools and technology.

Pay

Competitive pay range of $51,000 - $64,000, depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.

Schedule

Hours vary based on store needs, but typically include weekends and evenings.
