Sleep Expert - Sales

About the role

The Sleep Expert position at Mattress Firm is a unique retail opportunity designed to help customers find their dream mattress and improve their sleep quality. This role involves being a trusted sleep authority, executing selling programs using digital tools, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Elevate and enhance the customer’s in-store experience by being a trusted sleep authority and offering best-in-class products.
• Execute Mattress Firm selling programs with the use of digital tools and support a seamless omnichannel experience.
• Create an environment where the customer is always at the center by cultivating strong relationships.
• Provide technical and product knowledge information to customers and serve as a subject matter expert.
• Drive individual sales performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while demonstrating company values and supporting company initiatives.
• Maintain customer relationships during and after purchase (resolve customer issues, send delivery reminders, etc.).
• Leverage social media to positively impact brand awareness and increase sales.
• Be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50+ pounds.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of mattresses and sleep products.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• Bilingual in Spanish or Arabic.
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role.
• Experience with digital tools and technology.

Pay

Compensation is competitive and depends on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
