Sky Trail Event Lead

About the role

The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking energetic, safety-focused team members to help launch and operate our brand-new Sky Trail® ropes course and pavilion. This is more than a seasonal job — it’s an opportunity to be part of a premier adventure attraction designed to build confidence, create unforgettable memories, and serve families from across our region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support food service, guest transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized facility
• Oversee and support event and party set up, take down and guest experience
• Lead and oversee the preparation and serving of food items while following all health and safety guidelines, as well as wash and sanitize dishes, equipment, and work areas
• Process transactions and ticketing, ensure waivers are completed before issuing wristbands, and provide friendly, professional service to all guests
• Additional responsibilities include assisting with inventory, stocking supplies, and ensuring all equipment is used properly and maintained in good condition

Requirements

• Maintain the cleanliness of the facility
• At least 18 years of age
• Meets Sky Trail health and physical requirements
• Highly motivated, organized, personable, enthusiastic displaying leadership abilities
• Food Handlers Certification
• Adaptable, flexible, and enjoy variety in your work environment including weekends and non-business hour workdays

Qualifications

• Model the YMCA core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility; implement character development and the YMCA core values in all programs and all aspects of Center operations
• Must be able to pass background and drug screening

Benefits

The YMCA of Central Texas offers a competitive pay rate of $17.00-$20.00/hour.
