Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary: Instructor for basic machine shop courses. Instruct students on many aspects of machining and understanding of machine shop safety.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Three (3) years documented experience in machine shop trades; drill presses, lathes, mills, grinders, and hydraulic presses.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Operate power machinery such as drill presses, lathes, mills, grinders, and hydraulic presses. The understanding of machine shop processes to performed in manufacturing machined parts. Ability to instruct and conduct a classroom environment.
Preferred Qualifications: AAS in Applied Science
