Skills Lab Coordinator

About the role

The Skills Lab Coordinator’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing the daily operations of the nursing skills laboratories and ensuring students have appropriate instructional resources, supplies, and supplemental laboratory instruction. This position is responsible for supporting simulation faculty with the development, setup, and implementation of simulation scenarios. The Skills Lab Coordinator works with the Director of Nursing and does not independently teach or evaluate students. This is a non-exempt level position.

Responsibilities

• Support and abide by all rules, regulations, and guidelines of the nursing program, LIT, and serve as an appropriate role model for students and employees at all times
• Provide excellent service on behalf of LIT and the nursing program by responding to all inquiries from students, faculty, staff, administration, and external partners
• Maintains Texas RN licensure and required
