Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, dry, inspect, and organize laboratory glassware and reusable supplies.
- Operate and clean laboratory dishwashers and autoclaves.
- Maintain inventory levels, perform routine inventory counts, maintain accurate records, and identify replenishment needs.
- Submit and track supply orders, receive deliveries, rotate stock, and monitor expiration dates.
- Receive, label, log, stage, store, distribute, transfer, and dispose of laboratory samples in accordance with established procedures.
- Prepare test supplies.
- Maintain clean and orderly work and storage areas.
- Complete cleaning logs, inventory records, sample records, equipment charts, and other required documentation.
- Enter routine information into laboratory approved systems.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer and mathematical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Effective communication.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and standard operating procedures in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while complying with applicable safety and quality requirements.
- 0-2 years of laboratory, inventory, materials-handling, or related experience is preferred.
