Lab Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Wash, rinse, dry, inspect, and organize laboratory glassware and reusable supplies.
  • Operate and clean laboratory dishwashers and autoclaves.
  • Maintain inventory levels, perform routine inventory counts, maintain accurate records, and identify replenishment needs.
  • Submit and track supply orders, receive deliveries, rotate stock, and monitor expiration dates.
  • Receive, label, log, stage, store, distribute, transfer, and dispose of laboratory samples in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepare test supplies.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work and storage areas.
  • Complete cleaning logs, inventory records, sample records, equipment charts, and other required documentation.
  • Enter routine information into laboratory approved systems.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer and mathematical skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Effective communication.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and standard operating procedures in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while complying with applicable safety and quality requirements.
  • 0-2 years of laboratory, inventory, materials-handling, or related experience is preferred.
