About the Role
Join our dynamic clinical team as a Learning Lab Coordinator and inspire young adults to navigate their educational and career paths. You’ll provide academic and vocational support, helping clients with high school completion, college courses, and skill development in a fun, engaging environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one academic support to high school and college-level clients, assisting with applications, enrollment, and challenging course content.
- Offer personalized vocational guidance, including job searches, resume writing, and aptitude testing to help clients discover and pursue their career goals.
- Assist clients with financial aid navigation, including FAFSA, scholarships, and grants.
- Prepare clients for standardized tests such as SAT, ACT, GED, and GRE, helping to build their confidence and skills.
- Support clients with learning differences (e.g., dyslexia, ADHD) by developing creative, tailored strategies for their success.
- Oversee and manage Learning Lab hours, fostering a fun and engaging environment where learning thrives.
- Collaborate with other Learning Lab Coordinators and the clinical team to schedule activities, facilitate curriculum, and plan events.
- Maintain open communication with the clinical team regarding client progress, attendance, and areas needing additional support. Engage with families as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience working with high school and/or college students as a tutor or mentor preferred.
- Ability to support students in high school and basic college-level reading and writing.
Pay
Compensation for this role ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, depending on education and experience.
