About the role

The Franklin Unit Nurse Manager oversees resident care in our skilled and long-term care unit. This full-time, 40-hour position includes an on-call rotation and is scheduled Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage an environment of care focused on patients
• Define and elevate standards for patient care
• Train new staff
• Provide leadership for the nursing team

Requirements

• Active State of Maine Nursing license
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience sufficient to perform all duties with excellence
• Strong leadership aptitude or experience
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records and solid computer skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
