RN Skilled Nursing Unit Manager

About the role

Holland Home of Grand Rapids is seeking an RN Memory Care Unit Manager for its skilled nursing facility, Raybrook Manor.

Responsibilities

• Work with 3 other RN Unit Managers to manage the day-to-day activities and care team for Raybrook Manor’s skilled nursing, focusing on the long term care and rehab unit.
• Oversee about 22 residents.
• Coordinate and supervise resident care.
• Complete MDS assessments in a timely manner.
• Participate in the manager on-call rotation.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A current and valid MI RN license is required.
• 2+ years nursing experience, preferably in a long-term care or dementia care setting.
• Prior management experience is highly valued but not required.
• Prior MDS experience is highly valued but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and compassion for the elderly and their families are essential.
