Responsibilities
- Assure quality resident care while maintaining nursing service objectives and standards of nursing practice in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
- Serve as a resource person in both the clinical and management setting.
- Act as a positive clinical role model and effective change agent to ensure optimum delivery of nursing care and services.
Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: Associates Degree (ADN)
- Experience Requirements: Long-term care experience preferred; one year supervisory experience preferred; minimum one year recent clinical experience related to geriatric nursing.
- Licenses/Certifications: Registered Nurse, BLS (AHA).
- Physical Requirements: Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly.
Where You'll Work
Ambulatory Care at Penrose Home Health services a 60-mile radius from our office here in Colorado Springs. Our interdisciplinary team includes skilled nursing, physical/occupational/speech therapy, social work, and CNAs. We care for a diverse population of patients, aged 18 and above, and deliver skilled care in the patient's home environment. Skilled nursing addresses a wide variety of patient education such as medications and disease processes, as well as direct skills including wound care, ostomy teaching, and IV/PICC infusion. We strive to deliver exceptional care and educate patients on how to manage their health conditions at home.
Pay Range
$39.52 - $68.67 /hour
