RN Unit Manager Skilled Nursing

About the role

Unit Manager (RN) needed for South Haven Nursing & Rehab. Additional offerings: $7,500 sign‑on bonus. Full‑time schedule: 8 AM – 4 PM with on‑call and occasional night/weekend PRN shifts. Must have managerial experience in a skilled nursing setting and hold a current RN license.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, staff, administer and direct a broad program of nursing services for all licensed units, under the director of DON.
• Assess, evaluate, and provide direct care/related services for residents in accordance with their care plan.
• Administer medications and complete treatments based on residents' needs.
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing assistants.

Qualifications

• At least three (3) years of successful nursing experience in a long‑term care environment; most of which should be in a management role.
• A passion for caring for and improving the lives of residents.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Ability to administer medication and IV certification.
• Good working knowledge of state rules/regulations.
• Positive can‑do attitude and excellent attendance.
