About the role
As a Skilled Trades Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and engaging candidates for skilled trades positions. This includes working closely with internal teams to understand their needs, developing targeted recruitment strategies, and collaborating with other departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing and screening candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Developing and implementing recruitment strategies tailored to the needs of the skilled trades department.
- Conducting initial phone screenings and interviews to assess candidate fit and suitability for the roles.
- Collaborating with hiring managers and HR to facilitate the onboarding process and ensure a seamless transition for new hires.

Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in recruiting, preferably within the skilled trades industry.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations relevant to the skilled trades sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and databases.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
