Responsibilities
- Must be Safety oriented individual – overriding priority
- Self-starting team-oriented individuals with good technical and people skills
- Must be willing to coach/mentor fellow employees
- To diagnose and trouble shoot problems on industrial equipment
- Read and understand prints for hydraulic, pneumatic, and other industrial systems
- Perform various types of mechanical and fixture repairs
- Operate tool room equipment such as lathes, mills, drills, and saws
- Use an oxygen/acetylene torch
- Operate fork trucks
- Install and remove ballscrews
- Indicate spindles, chucks, shafts, and linear bearings
- Rig equipment using chains, slings, and cranes
- Work on assembly lines, machining cells, stamping presses, plastic injection molding machines, grinding machines, and CNC machines
Requirements
- One of the following:
- Journeyman’s card
- Completed a Department of Labor - Certified Program
- Six years of experience as an Industrial Machine Repairer
- Four years of relevant experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience, may require additional classroom training
Qualifications
- Must be able to operate tool room type equipment
- Must be able to install and remove ballscrews
- Must be able to indicate spindles, chucks, shafts, and linear bearings
- Must be able to rig equipment using chains, slings, and cranes
- Must have knowledge of bearing installation

Pay
Compensation ranges will be determined by certificates/credentials and scoring in the interview process.
Schedule
This position could be filled by a Journeyperson in Training, with the compensation determined by the above factors.
