Skilled Occupational Intern
Responsibilities
- Learn and maintain a working knowledge of CES conservation and renewable energy programs and utilize this information to provide assistance to potential CES customers
- Aid CES customers in choosing and completing program applications and other required documentation
- Ensure customer project applications are completed successfully; follow up where needed
- When necessary or requested, route customers to an appropriate CES Subject Matter Expert (SME), and/or inform customers about other available programs that may be applicable, from the City of Tacoma, Community Action Agencies (CAP) or Pierce County agencies
- Offer assistance to team members creating or updating user manuals for CES database and workflows
- Follow TPU Records retention policy and procedures, archiving or destroying applicable CES records as necessary
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum Experience: 1 year of post-high school training
- Relevant education and experience may substitute for one another on a year-for-year basis
- Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements: Depending on assignment, some positions may require a valid Washington State Driver's License

Pay Details: Hourly Rate: $17.23- $20.94
