Skilled Maintenance - Construction

Job Duties

• Construction and maintenance activities on equipment and structures at facilities used to store, dry and mill rice products.
• Millwright work.
• Maintenance of welding/cutting/fabrication of steel.
• Equipment demolition and repair.
• Concrete construction.

Basic Qualifications

• Skills to cut, weld, and operate machinery such as forklifts and sky tracks.
• Extensive skills in hand and power tools.
• Willing and able to lift up to 110 lbs.
• Willing and able to bend, stoop, twist, turn, push, pull, and crawl throughout the day.
• Willing and able to ride man-lifts.
• Willing and able to climb to and work at heights up to 200 feet.
• Willing and able to tolerate working in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
• Willing and able to travel out of town for extended periods of time.
• Always available for call outs during harvest and able to respond within 35 minutes.
• Able to do basic math (add, subtract, multiply and divide), and read a tape measure.
• At least 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license to drive a company vehicle.
• Read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently.
• Willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Willing and able to follow all Safety and Food Safety rules.

Preferred Qualifications

• Construction, millwright, and/or industrial maintenance experience.
• General concrete and electrical experience.
