Yard Boss Landscape Design is seeking a Skilled Landscape Pruner for full-time work in Mattapoisett, MA, focusing on high-end residential landscape maintenance. You will serve as a key specialist focused on the aesthetic and structural health of premium residential plant material, working with an employer that prioritizes team member care. Your detailed craftsmanship will showcase expertise on high-end properties and directly elevate outdoor spaces for discerning clients. No mandatory licenses or certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Execute precision hand pruning for fine shrubs and ornamental trees under 15 feet.
• Inspect plants daily to identify insect damage, disease symptoms, or nutrient issues.
• Apply proper arboricultural techniques to promote long-term plant growth and structural integrity.
• Maintain sharp, clean, and properly disinfected pruning tools to ensure optimal plant health.
• Clean up, collect, and process all debris thoroughly to leave client properties pristine.
• Collaborate with field teams to deliver high-end landscape maintenance results.

Requirements

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in hand pruning shrubs and ornamental trees under 15 feet.
• Solid understanding of the landscape industry and ornamental plant care.
• Ability to identify common plant health issues, diseases, and regional pests.
• Strong physical capability to perform active field work in varied outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dedicated landscape pruning experience.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Background servicing high-end residential clients.

Pay

$23.00 - $32.00 per hour (Plus Performance-Based Bonus)
