Hours and Pay
Hours: B shift, Monday-Thursday, 6pm-6am. Wage: Press wages generally range from $24 - $32+/hour (based on relevant experience)
Essential Duties
- Operate printing press
- Ensure print design conforms to job jacket information
- Responsible for print sample retention
- Notifies Supervisor/Lead Person or Quality Assurance Technician of non-conformities
- Responsible for proper packaging and labeling of work in-process and/or finished product
- Ensure raw materials have been approved for use
- Ensure all bench top test and measuring equipment being used are properly calibrated
- Identification and control of Non-conforming material
- Set-up and Clean-up machine
- Follow all applicable instructions relative to food safety and the SQF Food Safety Management System, including Employee GMP’s
- Report food safety problems to personnel with the authority to initiate actions
Qualifications, Education And Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior operation of same or similar equipment preferred
- Climbing Stairs, Bending, Twisting, Reaching, Pushing, Pulling and Squatting
- Walking or standing on concrete floors for most of shift
- Lifting is minimal, occasionally up to 70 lbs
- Exposure to inks coatings, and solvents
- Good and reliable attendance
- Shift formats (12 hours, days, nights) with OT based on business need
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, and Outlook email and calendar capabilities
