Skilled Flexo Press Operator - B shift M-Th 6pm-6am

ProAmpac is a leading global flexible packaging company offering a fast-paced, safety-oriented, and stable industry environment. We are hiring a Press Operator or Assistant at our Hartford, WI facility. A $2,000 hire bonus is available for new employees.

Responsibilities

• Operate printing press and ensure print design conforms to job jacket information.
• Retain print samples and notify Supervisor/Lead Person or Quality Assurance Technician of non-conformities.
• Ensure proper packaging and labeling of work-in-process and/or finished product.
• Verify raw materials are approved for use and ensure all bench-top test and measuring equipment is properly calibrated.
• Identify and control non-conforming material.
• Set up and clean the machine.
• Follow all applicable food safety instructions and SQF Food Safety Management System, including Employee GMPs.
• Report food safety problems to authorized personnel.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior operation of same or similar equipment preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks: climbing stairs, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, squatting, and standing or walking on concrete floors for most of the shift.
• Occasional lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Exposure to inks, coatings, and solvents.
• Good and reliable attendance.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (days or nights) with overtime based on business need.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, and Outlook email and calendar.

Pay

Press wages generally range from $24 - $32+/hour, based on relevant experience.

Schedule

B shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
