Responsibilities
- Must be able to lead a team to accomplish a project Safely and accurately.
- Must be able to set up and run GMAW, SMAW, FCAW, GTAW
- Oxy Fuel Cutting
- Handheld Plasma/Gouging Operation
- Must be able to lift 10 – 30 LB Weldments
- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints and engineering plans to construct high-quality parts and assemblies.
- Setting up and operating tools and equipment necessary for the fabrication process.
- Measuring, marking, cutting, bending, and assembling materials to create the final product.
- Inspecting and testing finished products to ensure they conform to specifications.
- Aligning, fitting, and assembling component parts using hand tools and fixtures.
- Repairing faulty components and products in line with defects highlighted during inspection.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and safety regulations.
- Inspect and test finished products for functionality and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Assist in the enhancement of fabrication methods, seeking efficiency and reduction of costs.
- Communicate well with other departments and team members
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fabricator or similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
- Strong understanding of metallurgy and materials science.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Keen attention to detail and a result-driven approach.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in engineering or manufacture is a plus.
