Skilled Electrical Technician

About the role

Join us as a Skilled Electrician (Electrician A) where you will operate/using complex electrical tools, troubleshoot, and repair equipment. You will work in an environment that promotes mutual respect, teamwork, employee involvement, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
• Work from circuit diagrams and SOP’s, when available, and recommend alterations to Lead Electrician or other appropriate departmental personnel.
• Assist Lead Electrician with providing training to other departmental personnel/apprentices/co-ops/2YD.
• Recognize operational irregularities on equipment of processes, accurately determine the cause, and take appropriate corrective actions.
• May be asked to assume duties of Lead Electrician when absent.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-year degree in electrical controls or electronics.
• 2 years of Industrial Electrician experience.
• Completed at least five years of industrial electrical maintenance work or relevant military experience.
• A completed approved four-year apprentice program will also be considered.
