About the role
As a Residential Carpenter, you'll work alongside experienced Project Managers and Lead Carpenters to help deliver exceptional remodeling and custom home projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform rough and finish carpentry on custom homes, additions, and residential remodeling projects
- Install framing, trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, flooring, and other finish materials
- Read and interpret construction drawings and project plans
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites
- Stage materials and prepare work areas for upcoming phases of construction
- Communicate potential field issues before they become larger problems
- Work collaboratively with teammates to keep projects moving efficiently
Requirements
- 3+ years of residential carpentry experience
- Experience with rough carpentry, finish carpentry, or both
- Ability to read construction drawings and plans
- Skilled in using common carpentry hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on custom homes or residential remodeling projects
- Broad understanding of residential construction methods
- Interest in growing into future Lead Carpenter or field leadership roles
