About the role

Join Visiting Angels and make a meaningful impact every day by helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes throughout Charleston and surrounding communities. We are actively seeking Skilled Level 2 and Level 3 caregivers who are dependable, compassionate, and experienced in providing personal care, mobility support, and dementia care. Whether you are an experienced caregiver, PCA, HHA, nursing student, or someone who simply has a passion for helping others—we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, hygiene)
• Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals and assist with nutrition
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with errands and appointments
• Observe and report changes in client condition
• Deliver care with professionalism, patience, and respect

Requirements

• Compassionate, reliable, and professional caregivers
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
• Experience with dementia or Alzheimer’s care preferred
• Strong communication skills and independence
• Reliable transportation
• CNA, PCA, HHA, and nursing students encouraged to apply
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

Pay

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour. Pay is issued bi-weekly (every two weeks).

Flexible scheduling based on availability; hours are not guaranteed and are based on client needs and caregiver availability.
