SkillBridge Military Intern

About the role

Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) is currently recruiting Active-Duty U.S. Military personnel for the SkillBridge Internship Program. The Program is 4-6 months in duration and offers service members an opportunity to transition into challenging assignments in areas such as engineering (electrical, mechanical, nuclear, etc.), facilities and operations, environmental safety, health and quality (ESH&Q), explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), technical support, nuclear safety, nuclear operations, cyber security, cyber defense, information school (DINFOS), artificial intelligence (AI), high performance computing (HPC), IT and Linux systems engineering, finance, procurement, and other Military Occupational Codes (MOC) projects. Service members will also have the opportunity to participate in career development opportunities to enhance professional growth.

Major Duties And Responsibilities

As a SkillBridge intern at ORNL, you can expect meaningful work and an opportunity to contribute to our mission of scientific discoveries and technical breakthroughs for solutions in energy and national security and to provide economic benefit to the nation. Basic Qualifications
