Responsibilities
This role involves overseeing the training and development of the distribution operations team, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs effectively. It also includes leading and managing the distribution center workforce, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and identifying and mitigating potential risks in the distribution process.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a minimum of an Interim Secret Security Clearance and be able to receive a full Secret Security Clearance. They should also have strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to participate in the apprenticeship program for no more than 120 days.

Qualifications
Candidates should have ten years of relevant experience in Navy logistics, including seven years of progressively responsible experience in distribution and warehouse management systems, materiel handling practices and procedures, or experience in storage and distribution activities such as physical receipt, inspection, storage, stock rotation, stock levels, and distribution flow to location sites.

Pay
The salary for this role is commensurate with experience and qualifications, but candidates will continue to receive their DOD salary and benefits while engaging in this unpaid internship through the DoD Skill Bridge Program.
