Skid Steer Operator

Responsibilities

• Safety is our number one priority
• Use safe work habits at all times
• Drive gasoline- or electric-powered trucks, cars, or tractors and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas
• Operate lifting devices such as forklifts, lift beams, swivel-hooks, hoists, and elevating platforms to load, unload, transport, and stack material
• Lift, move, and transport materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, cars, or lifting devices manually
• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or replacing liquefied-gas tanks
• Weigh materials or products and record weight and other production data on tags or labels
• Signal workers to discharge, dump, or level materials
• Hook tow trucks to trailer hitches and fasten attachments such as graders, plows, rollers, and winch cables to tractors using hitch pins

Qualifications

• Previous industrial truck operation experience
• Compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and SA Recycling safety, health, and environmental standards
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must pass Physical
• Must pass Drug screen
• Must pass Background check
