About the role
Provides direct observation of patients requiring 1:1 care, including those at high risk for falls and those on suicide precautions.
Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of patient, family, and employee information.
- Follow and enforce safety practices for patients and DeKalb Regional Medical Center (DRMC).
- Report hazards and take appropriate action.
- Participate in safety instructional programs.
Qualifications
- Education: Ability to read, write, and communicate proficiently in nursing assistant care.
- Experience: At least one year as a Nursing Assistant, preferably in the area of application.
- Skills: Follow directions, perform work according to department standards under RN supervision, demonstrate emotional maturity, and handle stress effectively.
