Patient Sitter - PRN

Responsibilities

• Maintains constant visual observation of assigned patient.
• Aids in the provision of a safe and clean environment.
• Communicates observations of the patient’s activity and behavior to the assigned nurse on a regular basis.
• Demonstrates professional communication and respect towards the patient, families/significant others, and other healthcare members.
• Provides support to peers and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing.
• BLS (AHA) certification required at time of hire and remain current.
