Patient Sitter/Observer - Emergency Department - PRN
Responsible for
Observation and supportive care to an assigned patient to assure a safe and nurturing environment for those patients who may be deemed as a potential safety risk.
Work Experience
Previous experience in caring for patients or equivalent experience in a similar setting preferred, or the ability to demonstrate achievement of unit specific competencies.
Licensure/Certification
To receive the Pathway to Excellence designation, hospitals must undergo a rigorous process to meet the required elements of performance to promote a healthy and positive work environment and improve nursing practice. This includes the submission and review of in-depth documentation, a nurse survey showing positive feedback from our nurses and review from the ANCC.
