Peraton provides USSOCOM, its Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), deployed forces, CIO/J6, and end-users with high-quality IT platform and network services over an eight-year period under the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3 EOM.

About the role

Peraton requires Technical Project Managers to support the SITEC program. The Technical Project Manager (TPM) must combine a strong technical background with proven project management skills, specifically within IT Service Management (ITSM). The TPM ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet established quality standards while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations. This position is located at Fort Bragg, NC.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services for USSOCOM, including Network Operations (NetOps), systems and network infrastructure maintenance, end-user and common device support, configuration, change, license, and asset management, training, and Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services.
  • Perform oversight of planning, execution, and completion of projects in accordance with the SIE OPORD.
  • Plan, lead, and manage personnel responsible for the organization’s portfolio of projects, maintaining efficiency in planning, scheduling, budget, and risk assessment.
  • Develop and execute project objectives by collaborating with customers on needs and goals, project proposals, project plans, and intermediate execution status.
  • Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements and assigning personnel accordingly.
  • Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards, and completing technical studies.
  • Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests.
  • Determine and maintain project schedules by studying project plans and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
  • Control project plans by reviewing designs, specifications, and schedule changes, and recommending actions.
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, and recommending actions.
  • Provide technical and operational leadership of projects within programmatic guidelines set by the program manager and customer.
  • Define, generate, and review project requirements documentation; perform technical studies to refine project requirements.
  • Monitor projects to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.

Requirements

  • 12 years of experience.
  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
  • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (desired).
  • ITIL Certification (desired).
  • Prior experience managing IT projects (desired).
  • Must be DoD 8140 compliant under Work Role Code 802 - Project Manager (Advanced level or higher) by 1 Oct 2026.

Pay

Target salary range: $104,000 - $166,000. Salary is determined by scope, responsibilities, experience, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, geographic location, and business/contract considerations. Eligible employees may receive overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
