SITEC - IT Specialist (SR) - Fort Bragg, NC

About the role

The IT Specialist supports the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order. This position is located at Fort Bragg, NC.

Responsibilities

• Create monitoring reports and manage equipment logs, ensuring the functionality of links.
• Coordinate IT administration and performance requirements with the networking and systems team, identifying, analyzing, and documenting long-range requirements.
• Administer network and communications systems, including routers, switches, VTCs, phones, laptops, and other IT Specialist systems.
• Provide full lifecycle support of LAN and WAN infrastructures.
• Configure, operate, maintain, defend, troubleshoot, and repair LAN/WAN capabilities, including point-to-point circuits, satellite connectivity, dedicated Internet connections, and broadband Internet connections.
• Implement network and security access.
• Collaborate and coordinate with external Government and commercial circuit providers to expedite the restoration of circuit outages.
• Provide mobile device support.
• Provide CSfC kit support.

Qualifications

• BS + 8 years of experience OR HS with + 12 years of experience OR AA with + 10 years of experience.
• DoD TS w/ SCI required.
• Required certification: DOD 01-M IAT II.
• Solid technical skills, with experience in a variety of network protocols, software, and hardware involved in IT Specialist operations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Government hardware, software, and network components.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytic, and diagnostic skills, along with good communication abilities.

Desired Qualifications

• HIGHLY DESIRED: CCNA Certification.
• MUST BE DOW 8140 COMPLIANT UNDER THE WORK ROLE CODE 411 - TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST - INTERMEDIATE LEVEL OR HIGHER BY 1 OCT 26.
