Job Duties
- Align program operations with the district's mission, vision, and core values.
- Serve as a leader in department and district initiatives, committees, trainings, and strategic planning efforts.
- Develop and communicate a shared vision for the site and program staff.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement new processes and initiatives.
- Provide direct supervision, coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to site staff.
- Participate in hiring and staffing decisions in collaboration with the Program Manager.
- Conduct performance evaluations, support goal setting, and guide professional growth for employees.
- Delegate responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with program expectations and safety requirements.
- Approve timecards and employee absences and provide training on timekeeping procedures.
- Maintain required personnel and student records and collaborate with Human Resources as needed.
- Manage program resources, supplies, and inventory effectively and responsibly.
- Support staff in creating engaging environments that promote learning, participation, and positive youth development.
- Collaborate with Lead Instructors to ensure high-quality, developmentally appropriate programming.
- Provide support and accommodations for scholars with diverse needs and maintain communication with families and schools.
- Conduct regular staff meetings, huddles, coaching sessions, and on-the-job training.
- Auxiliary support for additional Community Education and Youth Enrichment programs as needed.
- Participate in district committees, special initiatives, and training opportunities.
Essential Qualifications
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in education or related field.
- Align with Minn. Stat. 245H.08, subd. 2.
- At least one-year previous experience in childcare recreation, education, or youth development.
- Considerable knowledge of instructional methods, racial equity, and multicultural curriculum concepts.
- Familiarity with various instructional methods, best practices, and strategies.
- Prior supervisor experience preferred.
- Prior customer service and technology experience preferred.

Position Details
- Position Type: Exempt, Full-Time, full-year, 12 month position.
- Typical preferred core hours: 8:00-4:30 pm.
- There will be hours worked outside these typical preferred hours.
- Bargaining Unit: Management Personnel I-M (Supervisor).
- Salary Range: Per Contract, current salary range is $67,825 - $84,358.
- Start Date: To be determined.
