Responsibilities
- Maintain accountability to ensure all eligible babies are screened.
- Perform newborn hearing screenings in accordance with clinical protocols and hospital requirements, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Meet screening expectations set by Hearing Screen Manager.
- Inform Hearing Screen Managers immediately of any hospital issues or missed babies.
- Be the primary point of contact with parents and ensure scheduling of all follow-up outpatient appointments.
Qualifications
- Entry Level Healthcare Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer
- Minimum two (2) years of experience as a manager or combination of training and experience
- Prior experience with newborns and/or in a healthcare setting
- One to two (1-2) years managing multiple sites (preferred)
Skills/Abilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to manage high stress in a fast-paced environment
- Computer proficiency and ability to perform accurate data entry
- Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required
- Able to lift, carry, push/pull up to 50 lbs
