GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a professional, dependable, and motivated Site Supervisor to oversee daily security operations at a client site. The ideal candidate will provide leadership to security officers, maintain strong client relationships, ensure compliance with company policies, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure GardaWorld's core values are reflected in all business practices and employee interactions.
- Oversee daily operations at the Truck Gate, ensuring all vehicle access procedures are followed and documented.
- Conduct regular exterior patrols to maintain a safe and secure perimeter and identify potential security or safety concerns.
- Supervise the Lobby Security Officer position to ensure proper visitor management, access control, and exceptional customer service.
- Monitor and operate video surveillance and camera systems, responding appropriately to security events and alarms.
- Utilize TrackTik tour management software to document patrols, incidents, and daily security activities.
- Operate and oversee access control systems, ensuring authorized entry and accurate access records.
- Maintain accurate post orders, incident reports, operational logs, and security records.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and serve as the primary liaison between GardaWorld, the client, and assigned staff.
- Supervise, mentor, and train Security Officers while promoting accountability and professional development.
- Review staffing levels and prepare officer schedules to ensure adequate site coverage and operational efficiency.
- Promote a strong safety culture and maintain the goal of zero workplace safety incidents.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies while ensuring timely communication and accurate documentation.
- Direct, supervise, and support Security Officers during daily operations and emergency situations.
- Recognize outstanding employee performance and recommend rewards and recognition when appropriate.
- Address employee performance concerns, administer corrective action, and participate in disciplinary processes as needed.
Requirements
- Must meet the minimum age requirement as required by state law or contract.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous supervisory experience in security, military, law enforcement, corrections, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while leading a team.
- Must successfully pass a comprehensive background screening.
- Must meet all state licensing requirements, where applicable.
