Responsibilities
- Oversight of security function including staffing, scheduling, and on-site training
- Maintenance of contract-required training and screening elements
- Quality assurance of service and contract compliance through inspections
- Recommendations for personnel actions and productivity/cost reduction
- Physical security surveys and post orders
- Disciplinary action/commendation decisions
- Emergency notifications and direction to subordinates
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years of supervisory experience in security-related industry
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- State-required training or licensing (if applicable)
- Associate's degree or higher preferred
- At least 18 years old, or higher if required by the state (21 years if armed)
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment
- Basic understanding of security protocols and procedures
