Site Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversight of all aspects of the security function on-site including staffing, scheduling, and on-site training
• Maintenance of contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel
• Regular inspection of security personnel and their job performance
• Ensuring quality of service and contract compliance
• Responding to client requests
• Providing emergency notifications as necessary
• Directing and instructing subordinates
• Making recommendations for personnel actions
• Making productivity and cost reduction recommendations
• Making recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders
• Making recommendations for disciplinary actions

Qualifications (must have)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
• Possession of one or more of the following: Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard; Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets
• One year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry
• Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
• At least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
• Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public
• Effective oral and written communication
• Problem-solving ability
• Active listening skills
• Able to assess and evaluate situations quickly and accurately
• Ability to compile, sort, and interpret data
• Ability to research, investigate, compile information
• Ability to mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy
• Ability to write informatively, clearly, and accurately
• Teamwork skills
• Attention to detail
