About the role
The Site Supervisor oversees the professional operation, administration, profitability, and quality assurance of uniformed services for a client’s site.
Location: Collins, MS
Pay: $16.48/hour, paid weekly
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the security function on-site, including staffing, scheduling, and on-site training of Allied Universal® personnel
- Ensure contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel are met
- Maintain overtime at minimal or preset requirements designated by AUS
- Regularly inspect security personnel and their job performance to ensure quality of service and contract compliance
- Perform operations and related functions such as payroll, incident report review, and preparation of security surveys and post orders
- Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under direct supervision
- Respond to client requests and provide emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site post orders
- Direct and instruct subordinates regarding performance of their duties
- Make disciplinary action and commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel
- Recommend productivity and cost-reduction strategies to management
- Suggest improvements for physical security surveys and post orders
Requirements
- Must have at least 1 year of security experience
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass any state-required training or licensing qualifications
- Must be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Must meet one or more of the following:
- Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard
- Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets
- Minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in a security-related industry
- Associate’s degree or higher in any discipline
- Must be at least 18 years of age (or 21 if armed, as required by state)
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
