About the role
The Site Superintendent role is responsible for a specific area of assisting in directing, training, and administrating the efforts for all subcontractors. The Site Superintendent communicates regularly with the Superintendent and subcontractor divisions regarding projects, timelines, and staffing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Mets on a regular basis with the Superintendent and subcontractors to coordinate standardization of processes and resolve mutual concerns.
- Works with the Superintendent and Project Manager staff in establishing new hiring processes and procedures for field personnel.
- Aids in scheduling and coordinating materials to be shipped to the job site.
- Oversees and ensures that all projects in the specific area are completed according to forecasts.
- Manages the safety program and ensures that all safety standards are being met and maintained.
- Affirms compliance with pertinent government regulations and contract documents.
- Aids in meeting or exceeding project timelines and budgets in collaboration with the Director of Production.
- Aids in coordination with the Tools/Equipment Manager regarding tools and inventory as required for projects.
- Manages the Production and Field Staffing Team for a specific area. Assists in the direction, coordination, and evaluation of the field staff.
- Aids in interviewing, hiring, and training of the Field Staff and support staff.
- Aids in developing training programs for Field Staffing that ensures company excellence.
- Conducts area production and field staffing meetings when required.
- Handles payroll and production tracking.

- Can interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience in similar facility, construction technology, methods, and equipment, tools, and work procedures required.
- Travel is up to 25% of the time.
- Work conditions include a general work environment with sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending, and occasional lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Working conditions may vary and include fluorescent lighting, air conditioning, noise levels ranging from low to medium, and loudness on the jobsite.
- Compliance with ADA and applicable state laws, including reasonable accommodations for qualified disabled applicants and employees.
