What You Bring
- 10–15+ years of commercial construction experience (high-rise and/or multifamily preferred).
- Experience overseeing high end multifamily projects an asset.
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and quality management.
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Prioritizing managing multiple trades and coordinating complex site logistics.
- Postsecondary education in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
What Will You Do
- Oversee daily site activities of all subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
- Drive and maintain the overall construction schedule; forecast daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Review drawings, submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs to coordinate current and upcoming work.
- Ensure subcontractors progress in accordance with the project schedule.
- Develop and implement site logistics plans.
- Cookordination inspections with city officials and third-party inspectors.
- Proactively manage scope changes and identify potential schedule or cost impacts.
- Ensure all materials and workmanship meet approved drawings, specifications, and company standards.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections to implement and maintain quality control.
- Document deficiencies and manage completion of punch lists.
- Review design documents for constructability and efficiency improvements.
- Aid Project Manager with budget review and cost tracking.
- Track and report daily job production and progress.
- Issue and coordinate purchase orders and work orders for materials and site requirements.
- Review subcontractor scope of work to ensure compliance with contracts.
- Supervise and direct subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site labor.
- Lead daily site meetings and maintain clear communication with team members and trade partners.
- Forecast manpower and material requirements.
- Maintain detailed site documentation and reporting.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, community stakeholders, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
- Promote and enforce a safe working environment in accordance with OSHA and company policies.
- Coordinate with site safety personnel to ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Participate in safety inspections, hazard assessments, and risk mitigation planning.
- Assist in accident investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure all required OSHA documentation and reports are complete and accurate.
- Develop and document weekly safety meetings and emergency response planning.
- Provide regular updates to Project Manager regarding milestones, risks, and progress.
- Maintain clear documentation of site activities, changes, and cost implications.
- Cookordinate neighborhood and community communications as required.
