About the role
The Site Security Manager is responsible for overseeing daily security operations at Compal’s Austin or other Texas manufacturing sites, including guard force supervision, access control, CCTV monitoring, visitor management, and emergency response. The role also ensures compliance with OSHA, EHS, and other safety standards, and coordinates with local law enforcement, emergency responders, and contracted security vendors.
Responsibilities
- Supervise guard teams, manage badge/access control, monitor CCTV, and handle visitor logistics.
- Develop, enforce, and update plant-wide security policies, emergency plans, and incident response protocols.
- Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and corrective actions to identify vulnerabilities.
- Lead fire drills, crisis events, evacuations, and incident management.
- Support OSHA/EHS compliance through audits, reporting, and safety program oversight.
- Work with maintenance, IT, operations, and safety teams to integrate security into plant processes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial or corporate security management experience.
- Strong background in physical security, access control systems, and CCTV.
- Proven experience leading security teams and managing incident response.
- Knowledge of OSHA/EHS safety standards and emergency preparedness.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
