About the Role
The Site Security & Emergency Response Specialist implements and maintains site security and emergency response programs to safeguard personnel, assets, and operations at a manufacturing site.
Responsibilities
- Enforce safety, health, and environmental standards
- Manage security systems and personnel
- Oversee contractor management and compliance
- Develop emergency response plans
- Coordinate training and drills
- Liaise with emergency services and regulatory agencies
- Monitor infrastructure and equipment
- Lead investigations into security incidents
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial security, emergency response, and compliance
- Knowledge of DHS CFATS regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Integrity and adaptability
- Team-oriented mindset
Preferred Certifications
- FEMA ICS certifications
- Rescue Technician
- HAZMAT
- EMR (Emergency Medical Responder)
- OSHA 30-hour
- FSO (Facility Security Officer) training
Physical & Other Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Effective collaboration and commitment to safety
