About the role
Implement and maintain site security and emergency response programs to safeguard personnel, assets, and operations.
Responsibilities
- Promote SHES (Safety, Health, Environment, and Security) standards
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage security systems
- Lead the security team
- Oversee contractor activities
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and response efforts
- Collaborate with emergency services
- Conduct training for personnel
- Ensure infrastructure readiness
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial security, emergency response, or incident management
- Knowledge of DHS CFATS regulations and security systems
- Physical ability to work outdoors, lift up to 50 pounds, and wear PPE
Qualifications
Preferred certifications include:
- ICS (Incident Command System)
- HAZMAT (Hazardous Materials)
- EMR (Emergency Medical Responder)
- OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration)
- FSO (Facility Security Officer) training
