Site Security Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Aid the Site Security Manager (SSM) in overseeing construction site security surveillance activities.
• Aid the SSM in overseeing Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) activities.
• Aid the SSM in developing inspection methods and procedures.
• Report any issues of CST poor or inadequate performance to the SSM.
• Perform quality control checks of CST field work and documentation.
• Provide corrective action to all security staff performance or surveillance issues.
• Develop implementation procedures for secure area construction surveillance and surveillance plans and site security documentation.
• Collaborate with CST to document all security violations or deviations from the Construction Security Plan (CSP).
• Create detailed reports including date, time, person(s) involved, description of incident, and accompanying photos (if applicable).
• Ensure compliance with ICD-705 and other relevant requirements.
• Aid the SSM in compiling, drafting, and submitting required Physical and TEMPEST accreditation documentation.
• Compile CST daily and weekly reports and SSC documentation reports to the SSM.

Qualifications

• At least seven (7) years of construction experience, with up to two (2) years of security experience being directly related to DoD SCIF construction or physical security.
• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• A valid certificate for the successful completion of a forty (40) hours or greater ICD 705 construction training course.
• Ability to perform physical activities such as standing, sitting, bending, walking, and kneeling for extended periods.
• Working knowledge of ICD/ICS-705 Tech Specs (version 26 July 2021), demonstrated through experience on multiple ICD-705 projects.
