Safety Coordinator

Job Summary

Ensures implementation of all IES and Client safety activities
Conducts frequent jobsite inspections, ensures corrective action taken to correct deficiencies
Works with foreman in planning how to perform non-routine job tasks safely
Participates in jobsite safety meetings and periodic attendance at foreman toolbox safety meetings
Conducts jobsite safety orientations
Assists in safety training as necessary
Conducts field training on all equipment for all employees
Assists in Hazards Recognition and corrections
Provides on-site first aid and CPR capabilities
Complies with all company and client safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year commercial electrical experience in a related position
• HS Diploma/GED
• OSHA-30 Certification
• First Aid/CPR/AED/Blood Bourne Pathogens Certifications
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check and MVR check
