Site Safety Technician

Responsibilities

• Aid in pre-job planning, supporting estimators and project managers.
• Evaluate and report on the safety and health performance of Assistant Superintendents.
• Enforce safety and health standards, including OSHA and client policies.
• Maintain emergency response and first aid services at job sites.
• Investigate and report on all serious accidents and near-misses.
• Complete required site inspections and audits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Requires physical stamina for sedentary to heavy work.
• Must operate various office and construction equipment.
• Capable of climbing and maintaining balance on various structures.
• Exposure to adverse weather conditions and uneven terrain.
• Requires good visual acuity, including close, distance, and focus adjustment.
• Must be able to drive vehicles as needed.
• Effective communication skills, including talking, reading, and writing.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems under pressure.
• Attention to detail and ability to remember and examine details.
