About the role
The Site Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines in commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site safety inspections
- Develop and implement safety training programs
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors on safety protocols
- Respond to and investigate safety incidents
- Prepare and maintain safety reports and records
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction safety management
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and local building codes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- First aid and CPR certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with project management software
