About the role
The Site Safety/Lean Technician is responsible for ensuring a safe work environment and implementing lean principles to improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Implement and promote lean practices to enhance process efficiency.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with lean tools and methodologies.
- Understanding of ergonomics and workplace safety.
