Responsibilities
- Enforce the use of safety equipment/clothing as required by OSHA and company safety regulations.
- Reinforce compliance with safety requirements of the company among team members and subcontractors on the project site.
- Maintain appropriate safety records.
- Maintain work areas in a neat, safe, and orderly fashion.
- Investigate incidents and complete reports as required.
- Aid Site Manager in administering counseling to team members and subcontractors in non-compliance with safety requirements.
- Conduct daily safety meetings.
- Conduct orientation and jobsite-specific training.
- Communicate, implement, and enforce Gray’s safety program on-site.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR 5+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- OSHA 30 Hour card.
- Experience in an industrial construction environment is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques.
- Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite programs.
- Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
- An energetic, self-motivated individual with a passion for collaboration and professional development.

Pay
- $70,000 - $80,000 annually.
Schedule
- Field/project based position requiring travel throughout the United States and, in some cases, outside the U.S.
Requirements
- Must be able to travel as needed.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, talking, and hearing.
- Occasional lifting and moving up to 100 lbs.
- Frequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions.
- Occasional exposure to high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold and/or heat, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration.
- General noise level is moderate to loud.
- Overtime may be required.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Indirectly manages subcontractor safety personnel.
